Currently listening to: The Waiting Game - Waiting
I recently discovered this song to be on my iPod, and its skyrocketed to become my favourite song this week.

Last week was Back 2 School event at UTS, plus the fair. UTS had a couple of free rides, which was okay, but for the most part, they should invest in hiring more. The spinning ride was awesome, as shown below. Imagine a normal ride with 4 arms, and these arms spin in a clockwise motion.
Now add another 4 arms to those arms, and you have all sorts of shit happening to your body if you sit on the outside of those seats.
Thats where I was. Nam, Tim and I all got into one seat, and I pretty much got owned. It wasn't until a few hours later that the right side of my body started to ache.
Afterwards went to UTS Glasshouse Bar for the Back 2 School event.

Anyway, St. Patricks Day last Tuesday, so in light of the tradition, I wore green. Lots of stuff happened, so in summary: - Bumped into Rheanne on the train who wasn't wearing green, but blue and yellow, so for those that even have a basic knowledge of colour mixing.. then work it out. - Had Sushi with Wendy, Yifei, Kay (kathy) and Albert with student discount. - Saw Jasmine, Tim and Nam also wearing green. :D - Chilled with Kay for 3 hours since her class got rescheduled. - And then went home with Jasmine, and bumped into JULIE. Holy wow. Totally unexpected.
First thing I wanna get out of the way - new banner constitutes for new outlook. It makes me feel relaxed. So there.
Anyway, this topic I discussed with a few people because when I look at the shows on ABC1 and ABC2 now... I find trash served with a cup of piss. I look back at the 90's when I would come home from school and turn on the TV, I anticipate to be immersed in an afternoon full of awesomeness until 6pm Simpsons would come on, from there on after, it was Neighbours, from which my afternoon-awesomeness block ended (before it). Because Neighbours is also trash.
Some of these shows were aired in the morning too, so whatever, I'll just include them:
8. Rocko's Modern Life
"Garbage day is a very dangerous day." Rocko was voiced by an American. I demand justice. But anyway, entertaining show in the likes and weirdness of Ren & Stimpy (but not to that extent). THAT WAS A HOOT!
7. Arthur
If I wanted to walk down the street as if I'd just won $1,000,000, this would be the song I would probably listen to*.
*given the circumstance that this was the only song on my iPod
6. Feral TV/The Ferals
I just found out they only aired 18 episodes for this show. Wow, expected it to last longer than that. But this had an awesome theme song, even if it went for about 20 seconds, it was catchy. Rattus was my fave.
5. Round the Twist
"Have you ever... ever felt like this?" YES I HAVE. New or old actors, I don't care, the stories and theme song did it justice for me. My bro owns the DVD boxset, but I haven't gotten around to watching it yet.
4. Rugrats (new AND old theme)
If this was randomly played at a concert or something, who wouldn't recognise this tune? Assclowns with no childhood. I found the new theme to be just as good because it portrayed the growth and just how far the Rugrats have come, also alluding to the fact that those who watched it with the original theme, were probably close to teens now (like I was) so it gave an edge to an already awesome intro.
3. Babar
I've been wanting to learn this song on piano/keyboard.. and I sort of have but it still doesn't sound like this..
2. Captain Planet
If you heard someone openly belt out this song in public, it would most likely put a smile to your face. The concept of the five Planeteers with magic rings, used to summon a being that slowly dies by a splash of pollution... amazing. But anyway, catchy theme song that I would join in if someone sang. I wouldn't change channel until I heard the DIC at the end.
1. Power Rangers
Music for when you're lifting weights, moments when you muster up the courage to do whatever you want, times when you're eating bricks and flies for breakfast. Whatever the situation, it does get you pumped, and it deserves to be #1 on my list. I also just recently found out Trini (yellow ranger) died in a car accident. RIP.

Was Christians Bday last Friday. Got picked up by Lenny early so we could help Jeaneline cook and prepare for the party. In the car, we played the game where you had to try and name as much movies starting with a particular letter. I think I picked 'A', and I struggled to even name one. ONE. /facepalm. That was appalling on my behalf, I had a total mind blank. =\ Anyway, overall was a fun party, they had Wii, kareoke, and Guitar Hero World Tour set up so everyone was having a blast. I dominated the mic at the end but not everyone got to see my in-key-and-worthy-of-a-band-that-sucks vocals. Also saw some familiar faces and met some new ones! So that was awesomee. Also, sorry to Wendy I couldn't go Mardi Gras with you and co.
Anyway, lately every time I've looked at the clock it always says XX:34. I don't want to sound like Jim Carrey in The Number 23, as if its freaking me out, but its getting to the point where I want answers explaining this series of coincidence. HAHA. Jelli tells me 34 is bad luck in Chinese, but told me that I'm "not Chinese" anyway - but that didn't stop my friends and I from going to Star City on 08/08/08. Anyway, I really hope it isn't bad luck, and that I'm just overlooking the possibility that something amazingly awesome (hint/nudge/wink) will happen on April 3. teheh. It could happen. Well something better. It happens to be a Friday. I don't have uni on Friday, what gives? I'M TALKING TO YOU, FATE AND DESTINY. Assholes. *shakes fist*
Anyway, I think I'm due for a new banner.. or so it seems, I've made a draft of possibilities:
kay tanks pie.

This blog (hopefully) pretty much explains my life, so I'll just stop here. :)
PS. I also collect postcards, so if you have good ones (not the scenic ones), send them this way!
