Met up with JC at Blacktown and met her friends, Daniel, Milly, Pat, and Kathy, whom which I have seen a lot before, but not actually spoken to til then. Hahah. Except for Milly and Pat, new faces! :)
Trained it to Wynyard, and we already had the sensation of our stomachs grumbling. But Karens being a cocktail party (i.e. finger food), we knew we weren't expecting to have a feast. Took us a while to actually find the wharf the ship was actually at. Every one of her guests were lost. Pat and I eventally found it and we all boarded.

It's been a desert on this blog for the past couple of weeks. The whole point of making a new one was to get me to start writing more frequently.

So last Friday was Springfest. Shared 5 jugs of beer between the guys (Ricky, Aakash, Tim, Ivan, Jason) and myself. Crashed Lenny's programming class where we convinced the tutor we were there for a purpose.. as tipsy as we were. Come 7pm, SPRINGFEST! MEANING FREE BEER WITH THE $1000 BAR TAB!!!!!111!!1 But no, to all of our surprise, as soon as we got there (arond 7.10pm), the bar tab was already finished. Oh well. Bought drinks instead, danced. Met Rebecca, Wendy, and Hannah. aye, aye. lol. Also met some Marketing people in my class, Vanessa and Jenny. I'm so great with names. Later on, we met Fiona and Allison, who apparently says we dance so well. I dunno if that was the alcohol or what. But ok. :D haha. Fun night.
Forgot what I did Saturday night. Uni throughout the week was pretty average. Except yesterday. Walked 20 minutes through the rain to go to the Ksubi sale, only for all of us to come back empty handed. LOl. Bussed it back to make it back in time for programming.
Karens 21st tonight, on a cruise. I should've bought the mask (masquerade) before and asked around for ideas on what to paint on it. The mask I bought doesn't even have eyeholes, let alone holes for breathing or even an elastic to tie it around my head. Oh well, it came with a paint set. You get what you pay for. All $3.50 of it. Thursday, my only day off uni, and also one of the few days recently with clear skies.

Above is the view outside my house. I guess I like my area a lot. Not a lot happens, but its still a fairly good neighbourhood, especially with the shops and friends nearby. :)
So yesterday, went to Blacktown library to go study with Lenny. He ended up coming 2 hours later, and it was damn humid in the library. Those old ladies need to tone down the AC. As soon as Lenny came, we headed off to eat the usual $3 meals at Pizza Hut. Bumped into Jeaneline and Edwin, so we ate with them. Edwin managed to spill his can of Sunkist, then along comes the Westpoint cleaner lady who blames Jeaneline (when she didn't do it). And to have Lenny and I continuously blame her for what she didn't do was friggin hilarous.
Westpoint Cleaner Lady: "Next time, when something like this happens, make sure you tell me, okay?" Jeaneline: Oh ok, but it wasn't me! Lenny & I: Yeah it was her. Its ok (directed at cleaner lady), we'll make sure she doesn't do it again. Jeaneline: -.-
HAHA. :)
Later, we headed off to Blacktown Workers Club to play some ping pong. Although Jeaneline was underage. So we went in, unprepared for rejection, only to have it come hit us in the face, well Jeaneline more specifically. Haha. She got singled out. But oh well... next time wear your glasses! Makes you look 5 years older.
Headed off to uni for Programming. Got off at Sevo on the way home cos the family was at Marvin's house. Had dinner there, then headed home. :)
Tomorrow is Friday. Springfest tomorrow! If my friends plan to go too!

So last Friday was 8th August, 2008. Maybe lucky for some (well according to Chinese culture, but I'm sure a lot more people took it that way), but unlucky for others. I guess its safe to say I'm part of the latter.
Got to uni around 1.30 and met up with Ivan, Tim, Lenny, Nikki and Chris (too good at table tennis). After Lenny lost, I had my go and expectedly got owned. After that, Tim, Ivan and I hit the EGG lounge for some Smash Bros Brawl. Tim won both games I think, and I seemed to be the only one using the Wiimote as the controller. lol. Least I didn't come last..
After that we all headed to McDonalds/Maccas/Mickey D's for some lunch. From there, it was Simon, Jimmy, Jason, Gordon, Ivan, Tim, Lenny, Nikki, and I. I was just going to go in for some fries... but the other guys had something bigger in mind. Much bigger (in a non-gay way).
Someone had suggested the idea of having a race to finish this huge lump of fat:
Pounder.
It wasn't until a few bites in that we all started to get an idea of how we would place. Further hilarity ensued from the result of gagging noises and watching the oil drip from the burgers (TASTY).
In the end, we all eventually got there, except for Jason who eventually had everything in his mouth, only to have all that come bursting back out. LOL winner, right there.

After Programming Fundamentals, had a jug of beer at Glasshouse Bar, then we split up. 4 of us went to Star City, whilst the others went and did their own thing until 7pm (BiG event with free alcohol).
My good luck? Like I had any, I eventually ended up down $20 on the pokies. The most I was up was by $1 something. Then it was just a rollercoaster from there, which then eventually plummeted to zilch. Around 7.30 came, then we all headed back to UTS to go to the Loft. As Ivan had already mentioned, Thien, Billy, Ivan and I engaged in a convo about the ways of women. We came up with some theories that we'll soon test out in the coming weeks when we eventually all agree to which club to go to, and when we're all free. Awesome fun night though.
And because I noticed a trend in the other guys' blogs, I think I'd be fair (:D) to give the plug on their blogs.

Gloria's 18th Met up with Billy, Tim and Ivan. Went to Maloney's first for some drinks before heading off to SOHO. Got to SOHO, dumb bouncer told me my name wasn't on the list, but it actually was. After going in, it seemed a bit dead, but then the night was still young so it took a while for everyone to get dancing - albiet it was so packed/crowded. Bought some more drinks, danced some more, saw some other IT people, and continued to dance - in fact, Ivan and I didn't stop for a minute. Haha.
Caught the nightride home on the bus where Tim was still wide awake. Ivan also almost manages to get mugged by some loser. Lucky I woke up in time to see him do it. Came close to chundering, but held it in, only to get off the bus and have someone else do it right it front of us, NICE WORK MAN. Cabbed it to Ivans and then crashed on the couch.
Finally got onto making a new blog. Thankyou lazyness for the delay.
Xanga, being the ad-ridden hole that it is, was too cool for me. Too much crap on the pages whereas blogger keeps it simple, and its so easy to use. This is just going to be an introductory entry for my new blog. In the meantime, since I can't yet import my entries:
