I wish you would step back from that ledge my friend...

So last week (tuesday) I went to the Drive-In Cinemas with Lenny, Jeaneline and Laurence to watch Bedtime Stories and Wall-E. We came in our pjs cos we thought it'd be cool, even with all the blankets and pillows that Jeaneline brought along (and pizza).

Anyway, we got a pretty good spot, it was mine and Jeanelines first time there so we didn't know how everything worked. Initially we were in the lot/lane with the speakers that hang over your window or something, everything was good until we realised we were parked too far from it, and the speakers were as good as teather-balls. So Lenny adjusted his car.. until Jeaneline spotted the lot/lane that had the sound that supposedly 'plugs' into your car. So we ditched the "flintstones" style speakers and drove over to that one.. only to find out it was just a cord with an end that plugged into absolutely nothing, so we drove back over to the flintstones speakers. By this time, the family behind us must've been wondering "wtf are these kids doing?". We were all over the place. :D

Eventually, Lenny decided we weren't gonna move anymore no matter what, because Laurence was coming anyway (was still driving there). Movie started and 2 of us sat in the back of Lenny's boot (albiet a bit uncomfortable if facing forward), and 2 in Laurence's stationwagon. Bedtime stories was ok. Better than Rob Schnieder's 'Big Stan' failure, and everyone but Laurence fell asleep during Wall-E since we've all seen it.

The movie finished around 12, then headed to 2 different Maccas to use their toilet, but they were both closed, and Jeaneline was busting. LOL. Eventually just went to Laurence's house and chilled there for an hour or so until 2.30ish.

Apart from that, got called into work a few times. Bought my Canon IXUS 90IS. Ate at some Spanish restaurant in the city for mums bday, bummed at Jeanelines house on Sunday, where we unsuccesfully watched Finding Nemo, so we made a mango smoothie... which turned out okay. Then filmed around the house 'MTV Cribs' style.



Yeah, thats a pretty big cloud.

Anyway, also went to drive-in movies again last night with Jasmine, Lenny, and Jeaneline. We saw Yes Man and Four Holidays. Yes Man was better than I expected. I just hope Jim Carrey sticks with his comedic side. Before and during the intermission, we played taboo. I think its safe to say that I owned (minus Jismine who knew all 10000 of the words anyway).
